ABOUT THE EVENT
The Young Filmmakers Academy RED CARPET PREMIERE is an annual extravaganza and the highlight of the year. After weeks of hard work and dedication by both the students and the staff, the RED CARPET PREMIERE is a celebration of that hard work. It's a night to showcase the films made by the students and to honor the excellence of your future Spielbergs.
This year for the first time we will be honoring not only the ADVANCED SUMMER PROJECT but also the BEGINNERS WORKSHOP as well as several films made by our 8 WEEK FILM SCHOOL STUDENTS.
ABOUT THIS YEAR'S FILMS
This year's lineup includes 2 films made by our talented students during the summer's Beginners and Advanced Workshops. The feature film NIGHT OF THE WITCH, written and produced by the 2022 Advanced Summer Workshop, WONDER WARRIORS, Produced by our Summer 2023 Beginners Film Workshop and 3 films by our 8 Week Film School Students.
WAYS TO ATTEND THE PREMIERE
There are two types of tickets for this event - General Admission and VIP Tickets.
General Admission Tickets are open to the public and can be purchased in any denomination. Just use the form below to select your quantity. You will receive an an email verifying your purchase please bring a printout of that email or a screenshot from your phone to enter the event.
VIP Tickets are specially reserved for students who have a film screening in the premiere. You can give your student the superstar treatment with this ticket package, which comes with THREE tickets and provides your student with a cool SWAG bag of movie related goodies as well as reserved VIP seating. The VIP seating section is for kids only, sorry mom and dad, this is their night. The deadline to purchase VIP tickets is July 28, 2023 at 8pm.

The Red Carpet Premiere is a gala event. Prior to the start of the films, you can have your photo taken on the red carpet, mingle with other guests, grab some snacks, purchase raffle tickets, other YFA merchandise and just be fabulous. There is no dress code. Some choose to dress to the nines, others come casual. It's up to you, it's your night.
