Selection Criteria
We are excited to welcome aspiring teen filmmakers to apply for the Shadow and Shine Program! To ensure that we select candidates who are truly committed and ready to take advantage of this unique opportunity, we have established the following selection criteria:
Passion for Filmmaking

Because this is a free program, we place an extra emphasis on passion and desire. Applicants should demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for film and storytelling. Whether through prior projects, coursework, or personal interest, a strong passion for filmmaking is essential.
Dedication to Learning

Candidates must show a willingness to learn and grow in their craft. This includes being open to feedback, eager to absorb knowledge from experienced professionals, and committed to improving their skills.
Reliability and Professionalism

We seek individuals who are dependable and can be counted on to show up on time and complete assigned tasks. A professional attitude is crucial when working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Availability

Selected participants must be available for the duration of the film shoot and related activities. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary, so applicants should indicate their availability in their application.
